Sin is like a spiritual virus that infected the entire human race. Only Jesus has the cure.

God is faithful to his promises and will still heap blessings on the Jews.

Having laid out his indictment against the worldly Gentiles, Paul now turns his attention to the self-righteous Jews. We all stand equally guilty and condemned before a holy God.

Before you can be cleansed by the blood of Christ, you must confess the ugliness of your sin.

The gospel alone has the power to save sinners and make us righteous in God's eyes.

Word spreads of these faithful Roman believers. Paul prays for them and is eager to pay a visit.

Paul viewed himself as an agent of grace, and we should do the same.
